Always looking to expand
the JCB cardmember base, we have established
an active issuance licensing program both
within and outside of Japan. In 1985, we
launched the first international JCB card
issuance program in Hong Kong. JCB cards
are now issued in 19 countries and territories,
with 55.75 million cardmembers as of March 2007 and 7,125 billion yen in annual sales for April 2006 through March 2007. |

we have tirelessly worked to increase the
overall number of JCB merchant establishments
worldwide. Now our robust international
card issuance program is accelerating the
expansion of the JCB merchant network even
further. The rising number of JCB cards
issued outside Japan is driving new sales
opportunities for JCB merchants around
the globe. Today, JCB cards are accepted
at 13.50 million merchants in 190 countries
